A bite-sized chunk of horror is coming to Blackfriars this April. A mid-year mini version of the large scale Halloween festival, Glasgow Horror Fest is proud to bring the BITE SIZE festival to Blackfriars for its second year.
Sunday 21st April 2019
16:30 – 22:30 BST
36 Bell Street
£8.00 + £1.12 booking fee.
Horror fans won’t want to miss this event, with the big screen hosting two feature films and short horror film programs. We know that horror is for life, not just for Halloween! Glasgow Horror Festival: BITE SIZE is there to fill the long months between Halloweens, and provide a more condensed version of our annual October event. As always, Popcorn Horror will be showcasing the very best of independent horror talent, films which are innovative, inspiring and horrific. Glasgow Horror Festival aims to prove that creativity and quality filmmaking do not require a Hollywood budget and to showcase horror outwith mainstream franchises to our local audience.
Last years BITE SIZE screened the eerie folk-horror documentary ‘Bella in the Wytch Elm’, and brutal true-crime film ‘Cruel Summer’. Horror fans should expect equal frights and fear on the big screen this time around!
A small selection of stalls and vendors will also be attending, offering a range of dark and horror themed goodies.
Join us for an evening packed with spooks and thrills in the heart of Glasgow, surrounded by your fellow horror fans, freaks and geeks of the city.
